The trek net fishing at surfers corner is set to continue for the time being after a local management meeting yesterday gave the rights to the fishermen, they were told that they can only trek when yellowtail are present in the berg and they are not allowed to catch any other fish with a net at surfers corner. Local surfers and business owners are not happy with the outcome and the stand off is set to continue – should be an interesting weekend!
