The waves at Kalk Bay reef this past Friday 12th June were some of the best that have been over the last 3 or 4 years, it was an epic distraction from the covid-19 lockdown worries that a lot of people have been feeling!

The morning at the reef was wild and wooly with stormy 4ft+ heavy barrels on offer, with the occasional 6ft wave hitting the slab. The afternoon was a little more orderly with the early evening a beautifully groomed 4ft+
