The Llandudno Hey Dude 2025 Surf Champs made for an unbelievable ending to the 2025 Western Province surf calendar, held over the weekend of 15th – 16th November. Saturday the waves were a little on the small side and a strange side swell was running with a very brisk offshore wind. But Sunday dawned with 6ft clean chunky barrels and a few mutants maybe even touching 8ft that closed out the whole beach, the wind was brisk to start with but picked up to near gale force from lunch time onwards – luckily the swell didn’t drop and it pumped for the full day.
